The wedding story of Sophie & Slavi unfolded like a page from a fairytale – filled with boho charm, forest romance, and the warm, golden tones of autumn. Their special day brought together vibrant colors, carefree vibes, lively celebrations, and countless smiles, turning it into one of those unforgettable events that remain in the heart forever.
The day began with bridal preparations, where every little emotion and heartbeat was carefully captured through my lens. This was followed by an artistic photo session in the picturesque University Botanical Garden in Sofia – an oasis of greenery and flowers that became the perfect backdrop for their tender and emotional moments.
The outdoor wedding ceremony at Restaurant “Koriata” combined the beauty of nature with the warmth of their loved ones’ presence. As night fell, the celebration came alive with an unforgettable party until dawn, where music, dancing, and laughter flowed in the rhythm of their love.
The entire wedding photography collection was edited in natural, softly muted boho tones, creating a sense of harmony, idyll, and a touch of adventure – just as it should be for such a magical day.
A particularly proud moment for me was winning 🎖️ the prestigious Master Piece Award from the Wedding Photojournalist Association – WPJA with one of the images from this wedding, in the category of Documentary Wedding Photojournalism. This highly respected association honors wedding photojournalists who successfully combine creativity, light, composition, and technical mastery with capturing an authentic emotional moment. The jury includes world-renowned photographers, some of whom are Pulitzer Prize winners – making this recognition even more special.
